DAY 1 : Arrival at Coimbatore
Welcome to Tamil Nadu & Kerala family tour. Upon your
arrival at Coimbatore airport, you will be received and transferred to the
vehicle. Have a visit to the famous Marudhamalai Murugan Temple, which is a
hill temple. The location itself is very attractive and serene with fresh air
around. Spend the evening free for shopping. Overnight stay in Coimbatore
DAY 2 : Coimbatore - Palani - Kodaikanal (5hrs drive)
Finish your breakfast and start your drive to Kodaikanal.
Enroute stop and visit Palani Murugan Temple, one of the six sacred abodes
(Arupadai Veedu temple) of lord Murugan. Continue your drive and relax in the
hotel. Overnight stay in Kodaikanal
DAY 3 : Kodaikanal
Full day to do Kodaikanal hill station tour. Visit the hill
station places like Kurinji Andavar Temple, Bryant’s Park, Pillar Rocks,
Coaker’s Walk, Kodaikanal Lake etc. One more night stay in Kodaikanal
DAY 4 : Kodaikanal - Madurai (3.5hrs drive)
Finish your breakfast and drive to Madurai. Visit the famous
Azhagar Koil located in Alagar Hills. Also visit Pazhamudhirsolai Murugan
Temple, one of the six sacred abodes (Arupadai Veedu) of lord Murugan. Check-in
to the hotel and relax. Visit Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple, one of the six
sacred abodes (Arupadai Veedu) of lord Murugan. Also visit the Meenakshi Amman
Temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati and a thousand pillared hall with
eye-catching architecture. The complex is adorned with many shrines and

DAY 5 : Madurai - Rameshwaram (3.5hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Rameshwaram. Visit the famous
Pamban Bridge, a railway bridge on the Palk Strait which connects the
Rameshwaram town to mainland India. Check-in to the hotel and visit Sri
Ramanathaswamy Temple and have a dip in 22 holy wells for internal purification
from the sins. Have a rest in the hotel. Overnight stay in Rameshwaram
DAY 6 : Rameshwaram - Tiruchendur - Kanyakumari (5.5hrs
drive)
Start your drive to Kanyakumari. Enroute stop and visit
Tiruchendur Murugan Temple, one of the six sacred abodes (Arupadai Veedu
temple) of lord Murugan. Continue your drive and relax in the hotel.
Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of the Indian mainland. You can have the
Sunset View behind the confluence of three major water bodies Bay of Bengal,
Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean. Overnight stay in Kanyakumari
DAY 7 : Kanyakumari - Thiruvananthapuram (3hrs drive)
In the morning, visit the famous Kumari Amman Temple. The
Vivekananda Rock Memorial has been built to commemorate the visit of Swami
Vivekananda, the great Hindu saint. The Thiruvalluvar Statue is located here.
The pedestal of the statue is of 38 feet height and the statue over it is 95
feet tall with a grand total of 133 feet for the entire sculpture. Start your
drive to Trivandrum. Enroute stop and visit the idyllically located
Padmanabhapuram Palace that boasts of one of the best preserved examples mixed
Tamil & Kerala architecture. The palace which is made of wood is surrounded
by a granite fortress. Check-in to the hotel and visit the famous
Padmanabhaswamy Temple, a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, located
in the Fort Area. Check-in to the hotel and relax. Also visit the beautiful
Kovalam Beach. Kovalam is ideal for relaxing and spending time leisurely.

DAY 8 : Thiruvananthapuram - Alappuzha (4hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to do Alleppey Backwater Cruise Tour.
Check-in to the houseboat and finish your lunch there itself with a typical
Keralan cuisines. Cruise through Vembanad lake by houseboat till evening where
the boat will stick in one place. You can finish your dinner in the boat and
your sleep will be in an air-conditioned houseboat. Overnight stay in Alleppey

DAY 9 : Alappuzha - Thekkady (4hrs drive)
One of Kerala's most beautiful and amazing destinations is
Thekkady (Periyar), located in the Idukki district. Thanks to its location on
the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border which enables Thekkady to enjoy a cultural and
ecological mix. Indulge in the wildlife activities like Boat Ride in Forest
Lake, Guided Spice Plantation Walk, “Kalaripayattu” martial art show. Overnight

DAY 10 : Thekkady - Munnar (3hrs drive)
Finish your breakfast and start your drive to the renowned
hill station of South India, Munnar. Check-in to the hotel and relax. Overnight

DAY 11 : Munnar
Full day to do Munnar Hill Tour. The hill town of Mattupetty
is best known for its dam and the lake it forms. The dam is a storage concrete
gravity dam built to conserve water and generate power. Spread over 97 sq. km.
visit Eravikulam National Park that holds the largest viable population of
endangered Nilgiri Tahr, several other species of rare animals, birds and
butterflies. The park offers a magnificent view of the tea plantations and also
of the rolling hills caressed by blankets of mist. Echo Point is located 13 km
from Munnar and lies on the banks of a river. Known for its echoing phenomenon,
the point is spectacular even if you are not here to hear the echo of your
voice! Spend the evening with a walk through Spice Markets & Tea
Plantations. One more night stay in Munnar
DAY 12 : Munnar - Kochi (4hrs drive)
Visit the famous Mattancherry Palace which was originally
built by the Portuguese. Later, in 17th century, the Dutch modified it and
presented it to the Raja of Kochi. Located next is the Jewish Synagogue built
in 1568, is magnificently decorated by Chinese tiles and Belgian chandeliers.
Chinese Fishing Nets, undoubtedly Kochi's most recognizable sight, have been
there since the 14th century and are remarkably still in use today. It is
believed that traders from the court of the Chinese ruler Kublai Khan
introduced these nets here. Also visit the famous Chottanikkara Bhagavathy
Temple. Thousands of pilgrims and devotees of the Goddess visit here and make
their reverential offerings to redeem them of their afflictions. A visit to the
temple brings relief to them from the overburdening anguish and agonies of
material life. Don’t miss to witness the traditional Kathakali dance show in

DAY 13 : Kochi - Guruvayur - Coimbatore (6hrs drive)
After breakfast drive back to Coimbatore. Enroute stop and
visit Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple, one of the oldest temples in South India.
The place holds the prominent position among the temples of Kerala, believed to
be in worship 5000 years ago. Continue your drive to Coimbatore and evening
free for shopping. Overnight stay in Coimbatore
DAY 14 : Departure from Coimbatore
