Tour Itinerary
Days 01: Arrival at New Delhi
Proceed to Agra via Mathura. Arrive at New Delhi. Proceed to Agra (210 kms, 4.5 hours). Agra is a renowned Heritage Destination and home to the Taj Mahal, one of the original Seven Wonders of the World. Enroute possibly visit Mathura Krishna Temple.
Days 02: Full Day Agra Sightseeing
Visit Taj Mahal, one of the original seven wonders of the world and the Monument Agra is renowned for. Early morning is the ideal time to visit Taj Mahal. Later in the day visit Agra Fort, Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza. In the afternoon excursion to Fatehpur Sikri (a heritage town at 60 kms-1.5 hours). Time permitting visit Mehtab Bagh in Agra in the evening for another view of the Taj Mahal across the River.
Days 3: Agra-Ranthambhore via Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
After breakfast proceed to Ranthambhore (276 kms-6 hrs), enroute visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (62 kms from Agra) and take a Bicycle Safari for Bird watching. Ranthambhore is a wildlife destination and home to a healthy Tiger Population and Migratory Birds in Winter (Oct-March).
Days 4: > Morning and Evening Safari at Ranthambhore
Morning and evening Safari in the Ranthambhore. Ranthambhore is spread under 100 sq kms and Tiger sighting is frequent. Zone allocation in Ranthambhore is never certain, no. of Jeeps allowed in the park is limited (one is required to book well in advance to avail Jeep Safari) and so Canter safari experience is average.
Days 5: Ranthambhore-Jaipur. Proceed to Jaipur (180 kms-4.5 hrs)
Enroute it’s possible to visit Mehandipur Balaji Temple near Dausa. Reach Jaipur by afternoon. Jaipur is a major destination in Rajasthan visited for its heritage experience. Time permitting guests can enjoy Dinner at Chokhi Dhani Restaurant. (Ethnic Indian Restaurant serving Vegetarian Rajasthani Cuisine).
Days 6: Jaipur Sightseeing
Proceed for full day sightseeing covering Amer Fort (Elephant ride is possible), Jantar Mantar (Observatory), Hawa Mahal and City Palace, Jal Mahal, Moti Doongri Temple etc. Evening explore local market for shopping.
Days 7: Departure
Depart for onward journey.
